The opening of the new Damiani boutique on August 8 was a great event, attended by VIPs, celebrities and by Guido Damiani and Silvia Damiani, respectively CEO and Vice President of the Damiani Group, who went to Tokyo for the special occasion.
The new store is Damiani Group’s biggest property boutique in the world: an entire 9-storey building in the posh, centrally located Chuo-dori shopping street in the Ginza district.
Guido Damiani, during the ribbon cutting ceremony, stated:
“It’s a big pleasure for my sister and me to be here for the opening of the new flagship store in Tokyo. Damiani has been growing a lot in Japan and will keep on investing in this country, one of the main areas where our Group has been focussing its attention. The Damiani brand is very much appreciated by Japanese consumers who adore quality products “made in Italy”. We expect important growth from this country with which we have a special relationship and where we already run 11 shops, in the best department stores. This year also marks the 150th anniversary of commercial relations between Italy and Japan“.
The opening of the new flagship store confirms the success of Damiani world-wide with regard to style, design and the truly Italian artisanal skills of its creations: Damiani is the world’s only jewellery company to have won as many as 18 Diamond International Awards, the Oscars in the field.
This explains why many stars and actresses like Sharon Stone, Jennifer Aniston, Isabella Rossellini, Brad Pitt, Gwyneth Paltrow and Sophia Loren, to name but a few, all proudly wear Damiani jewels.
